SERVICE MODE

1. Launching the service mode and selecting the check mode
・ P ressing the MIC1 ON/OFF and MIC EFX INS button simultaneously, turn on the power. Keep pressing the MIC1 ON/
OFF and MIC EFX INS button until [DENON] is displayed. When the service mode is set, the service mode's top menu
appears.
※ The communications mode is set when the power is turned off then turned back on.
・ Contents of the display on the service mode's top menu
1) Func
2) SW Chk
3) VR Chk
4) LED Chk
・ T urn the EFX SELECT control to select each check mode, then press the EFX SELECT control to set each check
mode.
2. Mode
2.1. Func (Function Mode)
With "Func" is displayed, press the EFX SELECT control.
(Items marked * are for design inspection. Do not use them for servicing purposes.)
・ Contents of the display on the function mode's menu
1) USB R/W ＊ （for design inspection)
2) MIDIout ＊ （for design inspection)
3) ROM/RAM ＊ （for design inspection)
4) Initial
The contents of the preset memory are set to the factory defaults.
① "Cancel" is displayed in flash.
② Turn the EFX SELECT control to select "OK".
③ W ith "OK" displayed in flash, press the EFX SELECT control to execute initialization. "Done!" is displayed when
initialization is completed.
5) RunTime
① When press the EFX SELECT control, accumulated power on time is displayed.（Max: 65000h）
・ To clear the accumulated power on time.
② Press the EFX SELECT control with accumulated power on time is displayed, "Clear?"is displayed.
③ Turn the EFX SELECT control to select "OK".
④ W ith "OK" is displayed in flash, press the EFX SELECT control to erase the total time of power on. "Done!" is
displayed when erasure is completed.
6) Version
Firmware version is displayed.

Press the Time(Back) button to return to the top menu of the service mode.
2.2. SW Chk (Panel switch Check)
With "SW Chk" is displayed, press the EFX SELECT control
・ Check the operations of the switches.
1) In the initial status, character is displayed on the VFD.
2) When a switch is pressed, the character corresponding to the switch disappears.
3) When all switches are pressed, "Finish!" is displayed.
4) Press the EFX SELECT control with "Finish!" is displayed to return to the top menu of the service mode.
※ W hen the TAP button is pressed while the "SW Chk" mode is being executed, the service mode's top menu
reappears.
Press the Time(Back) button to return to the top menu of the service mode.
