Safety precautions
Do not use near medical
devices or on board aircraft
Do not use a mobile phone near a
heart pacemaker or any other
medical device. Radio frequency
(RF) signals may interfere with the
functionality of medical or aircraft
equipment.
• Always maintain a suitable
distance between the phone and
a pacemaker if the phone is
switched On.
• Turn Off the phone immediately if
you have any reason to suspect
that interference is taking place.
• Turn Off the phone in health care
facilities and request permission
before using the phone near
medical equipment.

• Consult the manufacturer of any
personal medical devices (such
as hearing aids) to determine if
they are adequately shielded
from external RF signals.
• Do not hold the receiver near
your ear except during a call, as
a sudden sound from the ringing
speaker may result in damaging
your hearing.
Should you use the phone
orientated with its back adjacent
to your body (e.g., when using the
headset), maintain a suitable
distance between phone and your
body.
• Before boarding an aircraft, be
sure to first cancel Auto Power
On and any other alarm settings,
and then turn the phone off.
When not to use in or
around your vehicle
• Do not use your phone near
combustible fuels or flammable
chemicals.
• To avoid traffic accidents, do not
use a mobile phone while
driving. Park the vehicle first and
then use the phone. Always
secure the phone in its holder;
do not place the phone on the
passenger seat or where it can
become dislodged in a collision
or sudden stop.
General warnings
• Do not use the phone outside on
a rainy day or near any source of
water.
Safety precautions
• Do not leave the phone in
extremely hot or cold places,
such as in a closed [or open] car
in summer or winter conditions,
or allow it to be exposed to
direct sunlight.
• Do not make any changes or
modifications to your phone not
expressly approved.
• Do not use the phone in high
humidity or with wet hands to
prevent electric shock or short-
circuiting.
• Be careful not to drop or
damage the phone. Rough
handling can damage the
internal circuit boards causing
malfunction.
• Keep the phone out of the reach
of small children. They could
hurt themselves or others.
