Settings
Setting Call Quality Alarm On
If this function is activated (it is set
On by default), a beep sounds
when the signal strength falls
below the level suitable for
communication.
1 Open the Call Quality Alarm
display.
• Press O →
→ Call
Settings → Call Quality
Alarm
2 Select On and press O.
• To release the setting, select
Off.
Ambient noise reduction
By activating this feature (it is set
On by default), the phone tries to
reduce ambient noise to make the
other party's voice clearer. Note

that when this function is acti-
vated, the volume of the other
party's voice may become lower.
1 Open the Reduce Noise
display.
• Press O →
→ Call
Settings → Reduce Noise
2 Select On and press O.
• To release the setting, select
Off.
Setting restrictions on calls
Restrict Calls enables blocking of
outgoing and/or incoming calls.
The Restrict Calls password is
initially set to 1111. You can make
an emergency call even if Restrict
Calls is set to On. Subscribing to
the service centre is required for
the service.
1 Open the Restrict Calls display.
• Press O →
→ Call
Settings → Restrict Calls
2 Select Outgoing Calls or
Incoming Calls and press O,
and then select whether to
block the following types of
calls.
Outgoing Calls: Bar All Outgoing
Calls, Only Local &
Home, or Bar Interna-
tional Calls
Incoming Calls: Bar All Incoming
Calls or Bar if Abroad
Notes: If you want to confirm the
current settings of both Restrict
Calls services, select Check
Setting in step 2 above.
If you want to set a new
password for roaming another
service network, select Set
Password in step 2 above.
Settings
Call Waiting
This supplementary service
notifies you of an incoming call
from a third party while talking with
a second party and enables you to
answer the third party by putting
the second party on hold.
1 Open the Call Waiting display.
• Press O →
→ Call
Settings → Call Waiting
2 Select Voice or Video Call and
press O.
3 Select On and press O.
• To release the setting, select
Off.
Tip: You can confirm the current
settings by selecting "Status".
