General information

The S103 supports various types
of messaging services such as
SMS, MMS, and Email. With MMS
you can create, insert and send
pictures or videos. Using Email,
you can attach several files such
as pictures, videos, or sound files
and send them to any desired
Email address. You may need to
subscribe for an Email account in
order to use Email. Contact your
nearest SmarTone representative.
You need to first setup your Email
account in order to use Email.
Setting up an Email account
1 In Standby mode, press
[Messages], select Message
Settings and press O.
2 Select Email and press O.

3 Select Account and press O.
4 Select Email Address and
press O.
5 Enter your Email address and
press O.
6 Select POP3 Server and press
O.
7 Select Login and press O.
8 Select POP3 Server Address,
Port Number, POP3 Account
Name or Password, press O
and enter each item.
9 Press [Save].
10 Press B, select SMTP
Server and press O.
11 Select Login and press O.
12 Select SMPT Server Address,
Port Number, SMPT Account
Name or Password press O
and enter each item.
13 Press [Save]. Your settings are
now complete.

Creating a new message

1 In Standby mode press
[Messages] and select Create
Message and press O.
2 Select MMS, SMS or Email
and press O.
3 Enter the required necessary
information into each field and
press O once your finished
each.
4 Press [Send]. Refer to Creating
an MMS to add picture, video
or sounds to your MMS
message.
Tip: To Cc: or Bcc: your message in
MMS or Email, when entering the
recipients phone # into the To:
field, press [Options] and select
Add Field.
