6 | Maintenance and Service

Daily maintenance consists of flushing and replacing the coupling fluid bottle, checking for leaks in the instrument, and positioning
of the microplate insert.
Scheduled user maintenance consists of purging the fluid system, replacing the water filter, washing the bottles, and updating the
focus transducer calibration.
Six-month preventive maintenance is provided by Labcyte service representatives if the Echo Liquid Handler is still under warranty
or under a service contract.

Echo user maintenance consists of the following:

Daily Maintenance
Perform the following checks once a day and the corresponding procedures as needed:
1. Check the coupling fluid bottle level daily.
If the coupling fluid level is at 350 mL or less, clean and refill the coupling fluid bottle. For more information, see

If the coupling fluid is cloudy, purge and replace the coupling fluid. Notify Labcyte Service and Support for further
