Probable causes
ground coffee too fine
filter blocked
water passage grid is clogged
up
presence of scale
dirty filter-holder or dirty filter
ground coffee too fine
position
filter-holder is clogged up
filter-holder badly positioned
insufficient rinsing
knob in position
knob opened too early
blocked steam nozzle
you use whole or skimmed

milk not fresh or cold enough

Solutions
use more coarsely ground
coffee
clean it with a brush
clean the appliance when cold
Descale the appliance
clean them with hot water
use more coarsely ground

Knob in position
remove any excess ground
coffee
put it back into place and lock it
into position
follow the rinsing instructions
Knob onto
close the knob for 2 minutes
rinse out the steam nozzle
semi-skimmed milk
Always use very fresh, cold
