appears on the Home screen. If the book icon appears, you should manually accept
the second service book.
To accept the new service book, on the Home screen, click the Options icon. The
Device Options screen appears. Click Service Book. The Service Book Entries
screen appears. The new service book is selected. Click the trackwheel to view the
menu. Click View Entry. The Verify New Service Record screen appears. Click the
trackwheel to view the menu. Click Accept.

You can accept or decline the new service book. If you have not been told by
your service provider to decline the new service book, select Accept.
Your handheld must be turned on to receive the new service book.
You can view the service books available to your handheld by on the Home
screen, clicking the Options icon and clicking Message Services.

What should I do if I will not be using my handheld for a short period of time?
If you expect that you will not be using your handheld for a short period of time
(two weeks or less) turn the handheld off. On the Home screen, click the Turn
Power Off icon.
To turn on the handheld again, press the silver key.
What should I do if I will not be using my handheld for an extended period of
time?
Before storing your handheld for an extended period of time, you should save the
information from your handheld to your desktop using the desktop software's
Backup and Restore tool.
If you expect that you will not be using your handheld for many weeks or months,
put the handheld into storage mode. On the Home screen, click the Options icon.
On the Device Options screen, click Storage Mode. Click Yes in the four dialog
boxes that follow.
Your handheld shuts down and, after approximately 24 hours, enters a special
storage state. You should store your handheld in a cool, dry place. When you press
any keys or click the trackwheel while your handheld is in this state, it will not
respond.
