Using the desktop software — Loading handheld applications
3.
After the desktop software reads the handheld's configuration, your
handheld's LCD screen displays Loader activity. At the same time, the
Handheld Application Selection window appears on your desktop. Each
application is listed (along with its file size) preceded by a check box and
followed by an action.
If you select the check box beside an application that is not present on
your handheld, the action changes to Install. The application will be
loaded onto your handheld.
If you select the check box beside an application where the version on
your handheld is earlier than the version available with the Application
Loader tool, the action changes to Update. The more recent version of the
application will be loaded onto your handheld.
If you select the check box beside an application where the version on
your handheld is the same as the version available with the Application
Loader tool, the action changes to None. The application will not be
changed on your handheld.
If you select the check box beside an application where the version on
your handheld is more recent than the version available with the
Application Loader tool, the action changes to Downgrade. The older
version of the application will be loaded onto your handheld.
If you clear the check box beside an application and that application was
already present on your handheld, the action changes to Remove. The
application will be removed from your handheld.
