moves and deletes, email messages filed or deleted on your desktop or your
handheld are filed or deleted on the other system as well. The handheld and
the desktop are synchronized.

4. If you have set up personal folders in your desktop email program, you can
reconcile email messages located in those folders. In the Personal Folder
section, select any personal folders that you want to synchronize. You can
include these personal folders if you want email messages in those folders to
be synchronized with your handheld.
5. Click OK. You return to the Intellisync window.
6. After you have configured email reconciliation, select the Reconcile email
check box in the Intellisync window. Click Synchronize now to perform the
operation.

To verify that email reconciles as intended, ensure that you have set the Delete On
field of your handheld's Message List Options screen to delete email messages
from your desktop and your handheld. (To view the Message List Options screen,
on the Messages screen, click the trackwheel to view the menu. Then click

If you select Synchronize moves and deletes, you must select whether
your handheld or your desktop should dominate if a message has been filed
or deleted on both your handheld and your desktop.
Email reconciliation transfers the structure of your desktop's folders to your
handheld. Therefore, you must perform an email reconciliation before you
can file email messages on your handheld. Each time you create a new
folder on your desktop, you must perform an email reconciliation to transfer
the folder to your handheld.
If you update the handheld's applications using the Application Loader tool
and choose to delete the application data from the handheld, you will need to
reconcile your email messages or restore a backup file to transfer the folders
to your handheld again.
