Getting started — Using password protection

Click Security. The Security screen appears. In the Password field, press
to enable the password. A dialog box appears, prompting you to type a
password with at least four characters. Click the trackwheel when you are
finished. You will have to type your password again to verify it.

In the Security Timeout field, set how much idle time should pass before the
password security screen appears. Press

Click the trackwheel to view the menu. Click Save Options.
You return to the Device Options screen.
To lock your handheld
After you have enabled your password on the Security screen, you can lock your
handheld whenever you want. A Lock icon will appear on the Home screen.

On the Home screen, click the Lock icon. The password security screen
appears.

To use your handheld again, type your password and click the trackwheel.
To unlock your handheld
After the password security screen is visible, you must unlock your handheld
before connecting to the desktop software and before you can open the Security
screen. If you turn off your handheld with the password security screen enabled,
you will need to type your password when you turn on your handheld again.
