Trigger model (front panel operation)

The trigger model consists of an Idle Layer and a Trigger Layer to provide versatility. A
programmable counter allows operations to be repeated, and various input and output trig-
ger options are available to provide synchronization between the Model 2520 and other
instruments (via the Trigger Link).
Unless otherwise noted, the programmable aspects of the trigger model are performed
from the CONFIGURE TRIGGER menu. See
Figure 8-1
