Function
The lube oil pump (11) draws oil from the oil pan through a suction basket (10) and delivers it via a connect-
ing line to the oil heat exchanger (4) and to the centrifugal oil filter (3) (if available).
The centrifugal oil filter purifies the oil in the bypass flow (by centrifuging it). The cleaned oil returns to the oil
pan by gravity.
