WARNING
Internal loads and residual pressures in the HP fuel system. Risk of flying parts when released.
Risk of pressurized fuel spraying out.
Risk of injury from flying parts and spraying fuel!
• Wait at least 15 mins. to relieve pressure before opening the HP fuel system.
• Only use specified tools and jigs.
• Always wear protective goggles / safety mask.
• Undo threaded connections slowly.

• Check components for special cleanliness.

Preparatory steps
1. Allow HP system to cool down.
2. Close off fuel supply to engine.
3. Remove cylinder head cover (→ Page 130).
