7.2 Software Upgrade

If the version of VSP 5360 is older than V6.2.2R,need to upgrade the MCU repair file
VSP5360_V2.51R.MCU first.
Upgrade step (from left to right): Communication firmware core processing firmware.
1. Communication Firmware Upgrade
(1) Connect the device to PC via USB cable.
(2) Power on VSP 5360 and enter to

(3) Open the USB disk which shown in PC, deleted file"firmware.bin", then copy the file
VSP5360_V2.51R.MCU to USB disk.
(4) Restart the device after being upgraded, enter the Menu to check the version and factory
reset.
Step: MENUSYSTEMSYSTEM INFOCONT VER.
2. Core processing Firmware Upgrade
(1) Connect VSP 5360 to PC via USB/RS232 cable. (File format: ".bin")
Click to open the software
(2) Before starting to upgrade, check if computer can recognize the serial port or not, (If not,
please refer to the upgrade manual in upgrade tool kit shown as below). If the series port is
recognized, move to next step.
