WARNING!!! The system will start automatically searching on
satellite once the power and or communication is established
between the controller and modem without having to press the FIND
SAT button if Auto Start feature is enabled. Make sure to allow the
required clearance for system deployment as well DO NOT power
up the system in a confined space as you may cause damage to the
Antenna. DO NOT enable this feature unless you fully understand
its functionality. Contact C-COM for further information.
HNS_KA Modem options
Hughes Ka service modem will automatically propagate and fill in all the fields except the IP and
longitude when BEAM_T mode is selected. Parameters are generally the same as the HNS_KU
service type.
Mode
BEAM_T – Modem Beam parameters information are retrieved from Beam table and used for
satellite search.
CONFIG – Modem parameters information is manually entered into the fields and used for
satellite search.
Longitude
Orbital slot / Longitude of the desired Satellite. This value must match Longitude value on
controller side.
RX
Receive Polarization set in the satellite modem, Hughes Net service only.
