Serial Port Usage
The serial port is not used
The serial port is used to open a console which can be accessed
with a serial terminal client from the other side. It will provide
helpful bootup and kernel messages and spawns a login shell,
so that users can login to the system.
The serial port will be exposed over a TCP/IP port and can be
used to implement a Serial/IP gateway.
