Term Description
Communication- The CCD6 CommunicationHandle is an instrument carry
Handle CCD6 handle with an integrated radio modem with attached
antenna.

ment.
Machine Control Enables optimal communication between iCR70 and 3D
Application Machine Control Systems. To carry out machine calibra-
tion and alignment routines when used with Leica 3D
Paving Systems.
Setup Pilot A method to carry out the setup of the iCR70 to a num-
ber of existing control points in a fully automated way.
Cube Search A method to optimise the prism search. Creates a cube-
shaped search window around the position where the
prism was lost. Dynamically , the search window is upda-
ted and adjusted in size depending on the distance
between prism and iCR70.
Target Snap A prism search method. Snaps to the desired prism by
ignoring other prisms, which are known from the data-
base.

All instruments use the same software concept.

iCON Field Software
☞ Uploading software can take some time. Ensure that the battery is at
least 75% full before beginning the upload, and do not remove the
battery during the upload process.
Description
This software comprises the central functions of the
instrument. It is also referred to as firmware.
It is recommended to control the instrument with
Leica Geosystems field software. Refer to the respec-
tive software manual for more information.
