10. Select "Measure Only". The Ps label changes to "Measure Only".
11. Touch the "home" icon to return to the "Dashboard".
12. On the "Dashboard" screen, select "Pitot Static". The "Measure" screen is displayed.
13. Touch the "Control" (1) icon to toggle the controller on. The following screen is displayed:
The figure above shows that the Ps channel is in "Measure" mode and the Pt channel is in "Control"
mode, as shown by the indication (2).
14. On the ADTS, open the Ps port cap to atmosphere.
15. Connect the Pt port to the aircraft Pitot system.
16. Begin single channel airspeed control.
3.14 Bluetooth®
In order to obtain the best results when using Bluetooth
correctly position the base unit of the ADTS in a reliable coverage area with respect to the aircraft.
Figure 3-34 gives an example of good base unit positioning, which should be:
• forward of a line level with the cockpit window
• a minimum of 1 m away from the fuselage edge
• a maximum of 8 m out from the nose wheel
• position the top edge of the base unit nearest to the aircraft with the output ports facing
