Possible cause
An incompatible
EndoTherapy accessory is
being used.
Guidewire is not locked at
its stiff part.
Guidewire with a diameter
less than ø 0.64 mm is
used.
Guidewire-locking groove is
dirty.
Contrast media is
congealed in the guidewire
lumen of the EndoTherapy
accessory.
Possible cause
The wrong remote switch is
operated.
The remote switch function
has been set incorrectly.
Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Solution
Refer to the "System chart" in the
Appendix and select a compatible
EndoTherapy accessory. Confirm
that the color code on the
EndoTherapy accessory matches
that on the endoscope.
Lock the guidewire at its stiff part.
Select a guidewire with a diameter
of ø 0.64 mm or more.
Clean and disinfect or sterilize the
guidewire-locking groove as
described in the "REPROCESSING
MANUAL" with your endoscope
model listed on the cover.
Clean the lumen of the
EndoTherapy accessory and then
insert/withdraw it.
Solution
Operate the correct remote switch.
Set the remote switch function
correctly as described in the video
system center's instruction manual.
