Canceling Messages Stored in Memory

It is possible to erase messages received in memory without
printing them.
1 After you have followed the instructions to print out
messages stored in memory, the display shows
MSG. IN MEMORY, PRINTING.
2 To erase the message instead of printing it, press the Stop
key. The display shows
CANCEL?
3 Press the Yes
key to erase the message from your fax
machine's memory.
If there are more messages in memory, the display shows
MSG. IN MEMORY, PRINTING
Follow the steps above for each message you want to erase.

WARNING: You cannot identify which message you are
erasing.

Rejecting Unsolicited (Junk) Fax Messages
(Closed Network Option)
The closed network option lets you set your fax machine to
only transmit faxes to or receive faxes from locations
programmed into One Touch keys or Auto Dial numbers. You
can also set it to receive faxes only from those programmed
locations. This is one way of reducing the number of
unsolicited faxes, such as advertisements you receive. To use
the closed network function, follow the instructions below.
1 Press the Select Function key.
2 Press the 9/User Program One Touch key. The display
shows
1:FUNC. PROGRAMMING.
3 Press the Yes
key. The display shows
FUNCTION NO. [ ].
