3-2-12. Flange Back Adjustment

The inner focus lens flange back adjustment is carried out
automatically. If the following specified value is not
satisfied, the subject will be out of focus during auto
focusing/manual focusing.

. Perform this adjustment after performing "3-2-11. MR
Adjustment".
. Make the lens horizontal and perform this adjustment.
. The data of page: 0, address: 10 must be "00".
. Check that the data of page: 6, address: 02 is "00". If
not, set data: 00 to page: 6, address: 01, and press the
PAUSE button.
Preparation
Check that at both the zoom lens TELE end and WIDE
end, the center of the chart for the flange back adjustment
and center of the exposure screen coincide.

PAUSE button.
Set the data, and press
PAUSE button.
Check that the data changes to
"01".

Check the data that the
specification is satisfied.

Preparation
Set the zoom lens to the TELE end and expose a subject
that is more than 500 m away (subject with clear contrast
such as building, etc.).

Nearby subjects less than 500 m away should not be in the
screen.
Set the data, and press
PAUSE button.
Set the data.
Turn off the power and turn on
again.
Perform "Flange Back
Adjustment (2)".
