2-1-5. Worm Gear Assembly (Tilt)

Removing
1. Remove the side rear assembly and side front assem-
bly. (Refer to steps 1 to 3 in Section 1-3-1.)
2. Remove the drive gear T.
(Refer to steps 5 and 6 in Section 2-1-1.)
3. Remove the gear press spring from the SE plate.
4. Remove the two screws, and remove the worm base B.

5. Remove the worm base B, gear press spring and two
holders W3 from the worm gear assembly (tilt).

Installation
6. Reattach the worm base B, gear press spring and two
holders W3 to a new worm gear assembly (tilt).

Reattach the worm gear assembly (tilt) to the worm
base B with the holders W3 installed as shown in the
figure.

7. Reattach the worm gear assembly (tilt) in the reverse
order from steps 3 and 4.
8. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order from steps 1
and 2.
