2-1-2. Starting an Adjustment Program

1. Confirmation of COM port
The serial port of PC that can be used in an adjustment
program is only COM1 to COM4.
Confirm that the serial port of PC used is set to any of
COM1 to COM4 before performing adjustment.
2. Installation of adjustment program
(1) Start PC.
Copy executable file "E400_Adj_Ver1.0.exe" from
CD-ROM of an adjustment program to any folder of
PC.
(2) Create the shortcut "E400_Adj_Ver1.0.exe" in a
desktop.
3. Connection
Connect each equipment referring to the connection
diagram in Section 2-1-3.
4. Setting of camera
(1) Turn on the power of each equipment.
(2) Start a Web browser using PC and enter the camera IP
address, which you want to monitor, in an address
column.

The welcome page of a network is then displayed.

(3) Select language at the bottom of a welcome page.

(4) Click [Setting] on the welcome page.
The dialog box for authentication is displayed.
(5) Enter the user name and password of an administrator.
An administrator setting menu is displayed.

During factory setting, the user name and password of
an administrator are set as "admin".
(6) Click "Camera" in an administrator menu.
A camera menu is displayed.
(7) Click the "Image" tab.
(8) Set as described below.
White balance: ATW
Exposure: Manual iris lens 2
Shutter speed: 1/60 (NTSC)
1/50 (PAL)
Gain: 0 dB
Saturation: 0
(9) Click the [OK] button.
Front (lens) position
(10) Switch S651 on the PR-291 board to the front
position of this unit.
