DO NOT insert an RJ11 connector into an RJ45 socket. An RJ11 connector, which has 4
or 6 pins (see
data connections to fail. This can especially be an issue with WAN interfaces (SDSL,
CAUTION
ADSL, etc). If it is necessary to connect an RJ11 connector with an RJ45 port, an RJ11-to-
RJ45 adapter must be used.
Pins not listed are not used.
