The Pulse Shape category displays a graphical representation of the E1 pulse.

shows an example of the Pulse Shape results.

Use the mask to measure conformance to G.703 specifications. To view or
hide the mask, press the asterisk [
select View Mask or Hide Mask.
When the mask is enabled, a status indication appears to the right.

Description
PASS
Indicates the pulse shape conforms to the mask specifications.
FAIL
Indicates the pulse shape does not conform to the mask specifica-
tions.
NO DATA
Indicates the unit was unable to capture or measure the pulse.
NO SIG
Indicates the E1 input signal level is below -42dB.
LOW SIG
Indicates the E1 input signal level is below -6dB.
When configured for jitter tests, the E1 Tester provides jitter results in several
result groups. The module also allows you to view the jitter results in a graph-
ical or tabular format.
