4. When operating stationary Pto
driven equipment, always apply
the tractor parking brake and place
chocks behind and in front of the
rear wheels. stay clear of all rotat-
ing parts.
5. Do not attach a Pto driven imple-
ment if the implement's safety
shields are damaged or not in
place. rotating shafts are an en-
tanglement hazard.

1. use the 3-point hitch only with
equipment designed for 3-point
hitch usage.
2. When using a 3-point hitch mount-
ed implement, be sure to install the
proper counterbalance weight on
the front of the tractor.
3. When transporting on the road,
set the implement lowering control
in the "locK" position to hold the
implement in the raised position.

in order to service your tractor you
must park it on a flat level surface, set
the parking brake, place the gear shift
lever in neutral and stop the engine.

around the battery or when refuel-
ing your tractor. Keep all sparks
and flames away from the battery
and fuel tank. the battery presents
an explosive hazard because it
gives off hydrogen and oxygen...
especially when recharging.
