The mounting rail is the rack of the S7-1500 automation system. You
can use the entire length of the mounting rail (marginless assembly).
The mounting rails may be ordered as accessories (Page 224).
The set of screws is threaded into the mounting rail's T-profile groove,
and is required for grounding the mounting rail.
The set of screws is contained in the scope of delivery of the mounting
rails in the standard lengths (160 to 830 mm), and may be ordered as
an accessory (Page 224).
The CPU executes the user program. The integrated system power
supply of the CPU supplies the modules used via the backplane bus.
