2.1 Starting Up the Machine Control System
Install the machine library to be used.
Set the device assignment method of the Motion
CPU to "MELSEC iQ-R Motion device
assignment".
Set the following common parameter.
• R series common parameter
• Motion CPU common parameter
Set the machine control setting of the following
parameter to "Use".
• Motion CPU common parameter (Basic setting)
Set the following parameters for positioning for
the machine configuration axes.
• Motion control parameter
Set the machine control parameters.
• Machine common parameter
• Machine parameter
Create the programs for machine control (Motion
SFC program, sequence program, machine
positioning data, point block).
Write the parameters and programs created in
STEP1 to STEP3 to the Motion CPU (write the
sequence programs to the PLC CPU).
Reset the Multiple CPU system.
Check the machine operation with JOG operation.
Perform home position return for machine
configuration axes.
Check that the system is performing machine
control.
Check the machine operation with machine JOG
operation.
Execute the created programs to perform
machine control.
Monitor the status of machine control.
