Importing SMF (Standard MIDI File) data

You can import SMF data into a pattern or song.
SMF (Appendices; p. 13)
1.
Press [IMPORT].
The IMPORT screen (Screen Guide; p. 219) will appear.
2.
Use CURSOR [
[F5](Import).
"Select import to SONG or PATTERN" message will appear.

Select the type of data (song or pattern) into which you want to convert the imported SMF
data.
Operation
[F3](To Song)
[F5](To Pattern)
[EXIT]
● If you import by pressing [F3](To Song)
The imported SMF data will be saved as a new song in the current project.
● If you import by pressing [F5](To Pattern)
SELECT PATTERN screen will appear. In this screen, you specify the location within the pattern list in which
the new pattern is to be saved.
Use CURSOR [
If you select a pattern other than Empty, the newly saved data will overwrite that pattern.
