Quick Start

Listening to the demo songs

The MV-8800 comes equipped with a wide variety of features for creating songs. To get a better idea of what
these functions are, try listening to the demo songs.

Loading a project

A project containing a demo song was saved to the MV-8800's internal hard disk when the unit was shipped
from the factory. Use the following procedure to load the project containing the demo song to the MV-8800's
memory.

Press [PROJECT].
The PROJECT MENU screen (Screen Guide; p. 162) will appear.

Use CURSOR [ ] [ ] [ ] [ ] to select the LOAD PROJ icon, and
press [ENTER].
The LOAD PROJECT screen (Screen Guide; p. 164) will appear.
The project saved on the hard disk are listed in the display.

Move the cursor to the project that you want to load, and press
[F5](Execute).
The display will ask "Save Current Project before loading project?"

Press [F5](Yes) or [F1](No).

[F5](Yes)
The project is loaded to the MV-8800's memory.
Action
The selected project will be loaded without saving the current project.
The current project will be saved, and then the selected project will be loaded.
