Creating a patch from the sample

With the Original Key parameter, set the note number you want to use
for the performance with sampled pitches unchanged.

Press [F3](Quick Assign).
The Select Quick Assign message (Screen Guide; p. 213) will appear.

Press [F5](AsgnToPatch).
The PATCH QUICK ASSIGN popup (Screen Guide; p. 216) will appear.

Specify the Part parameter which you want to assign a sample.

Place a check mark (✔) at the Make Keyboard parameter.
This allows you to perform with scales included.

With the Assign To parameter, set the pad bank number and pad
number range to which you want to assign the sample, then press
[F5](Execute).
The sample will be assigned to the specified velocity pads (note number). After pressing
[INSTRUMENTS], you can then tap the velocity pads to play the sampled sounds.
