Changing the Key of the Playback

* If you change the key setting during playback, the audio will be interrupted momentarily.

This adjusts the key (pitch) of the playback sound in semitone steps. This can be useful
in situations like the following.
You want to practice flute along with an accompaniment CD that was created for alto
sax.
You want to sing along with a karaoke CD at a key that's easier for you to sing.
Press the [MENU] button to access the menu screen, and choose "Key."
Use the [+] [-] buttons to adjust the value, changing the key.
If you press the [
] button, the value will return to "0."

Press the [EXIT] button twice.
You're returned to the audio source screen.

The "
" symbol will disappear if you set the "Key" to "0" in Step 2.
When you turn off the power, the Key setting will return to "0."

Explanation
Decreasing the value by one will lower the overall pitch of the
song by a semitone. Increasing the value by one will raise the
overall pitch of the song by a semitone. A setting of "0" is the
original key of the song.
The "
" icon is displayed
if you've changed the key setting.
