Top Panel

MIC L/MIC R
This is a stereo pair of mics built into the CD-2e.
You can use these mics to record.
"Recording with the Internal Mics" (Page 36)
[MIC] Knob
This adjusts the input level of the internal mics and
the EXT MIC jack.
If the input sound is too loud, the peak
indicator above the [MIC] knob will light.
* If you turn the [MIC] knob all the way to the left, no
sound will be input from the internal mics or the EXT
MIC jack.
* If the [MIC LEVEL] switch is in the "AUTO" position
(Page 38), the input level will be set automatically, and
you won't be able to adjust the input level using the
[MIC] knob.

[LINE] Knob
This adjusts the input level of the LINE IN jack.
If the input sound is too loud, the peak
indicator above the [LINE] knob will light.
* If you turn the [LINE] knob all the way to the left, no
sound will be input from the LINE IN jacks.

[VOLUME] Knob
This knob adjusts the volume of the internal
speakers and the headphones.

(Stop)] Button
This button stops playback or recording.

[
(Play)] Button
This button starts playback or recording.
During playback or recording, you can press this
button to pause. Press it once again to resume
playback or recording from the location at which
you paused.
If you pause recording, the next track will be
started at the point you resumed recording.

[
(Record)] Button
Press this button to enter recording-standby
mode.
During recording, you can press this button to
assign a track number.
