The USB Utility page serves multiple purposes using a flash drive connected to
the instrument's front panel USB port. One purpose is used in data logging
(Section 3.1.7) for transferring data from the instrument to a flash drive (Section
3.1.7.3). Another is updating firmware (instructions in Section 3.2). (A third
purpose, which is not yet available, is copying a configuration from one
instrument to other instruments).

The Data Logger captures and stores user-defined data, which then can be
downloaded from the instrument to a USB flash drive for examination and
analysis. Press the ADD button to create a new log (Figure 3-5), or select an
existing log from the Data Logging list and press the EDIT or DELETE button to
make the desired changes (Figure 3-6). See Sections 3.1.7.1 and 3.1.7.2 for
configuration details, and Section 3.1.7.3 for transferring captured instrument
data to a flash drive.
