COMMUNICATIONS INTERFACE CONNECTIONS

Adhering to the warning messages previously introduced (Section 2.3), insert the
power cord between the instrument's AC power connector and a properly rated
power outlet.
For network or Internet communication with the instrument, connect an Ethernet
cable from the analyzer's rear panel Ethernet interface connector to an Ethernet
port. Although the analyzer is shipped with DHCP enabled by default, it should
be manually assigned a static IP address. See Section 3.1.13.
For firmware updates and data downloads, use a flash drive inserted into the front
panel USB port. See Sections 3.2 and 3.1.7.3.
