1. when storing the tractor for a long
period, remove the battery from
tractor, store in a dry place out of
direct sunlight.
2. the battery self discharges while it
is stored.
recharge it once every three
months in hot seasons and once
every six months in cold seasons.

ChECkINg INTAkE AIR lINE (W)

(1) air line hose
1. if the hose clamps are loose ,
tighten clamps securely.
2. if the hoses and clamps are dam-
aged, you must replace them at
once. failure to do so could lead
to engine damage.
3. check the following section.

(a) wheel - to - wheel distance at front
(b) wheel - to - wheel distance at rear
1. Park tractor on a flat surface
2. tu r n s t e e r i n g w h e e l s o f r o n t
wheels are pointed straight ahead.
3. lower the implement, lock the
parking brake and stop the engine.
4. measure distance between tire
beads (center) at front of tire and
hub height.
5. measure distance between tire
beads at the rear of tire and hub
height.
