NOTE: Remember that if you wish to measure
voltage or current on a specific channel, you must con-
nect the appropriate test leads between the specific
terminals to the circuit you want to measure. If mea-
suring voltage, use the voltage terminals. If measuring
current, use the current terminals.
Measuring Voltage and Current
Most of the measured values available from the 928A
are derived from the voltage, current and frequency
measurements. Most of the advance functions using
these basic measurements are found in the next section
entitled "Operation."
Current Terminals
Caution: No Direct Current or Voltage Input – do
not connect a voltage or current directly to the current
terminals of the 928A. These terminals are intended for
use with a current probe only – either a voltage output
or current output type. See caution for CT probe use
on page 4.
