6.5.2 Accessing the Boot menu

Power on the switch (for example, QX-S6648XP-6Q switch), and you can see the following
information:

PEX mode is disabled.
Press Ctrl+B to access EXTENDED BOOT MENU...0
Press Ctrl + B at the prompt within one second to access the Boot menu. If you fail to do
that within the time limit, the system starts decompressing files, and you must restart the
switch to access the Boot menu.
 NOTE:
The system has two startup modes: full startup and fast startup. By default, the system

starts up in fast mode and the waiting time is one second. If you set the startup mode to
full, the waiting time is five seconds.
PEX mode is disabled message is displayed on Version7.2.16 and later. QX-S6600

series do not support the PEX mode.
