Adding VersaMax Modules to a Remote Node
The PNS remote node can contain the module types listed in the VersaMax PROFINET Scanner
Manual, GFK-2721. It cannot contain the following expansion modules or communications modules:
Asi Network Master Module
DeviceNet Network Control Module
Expansion Transmitter Module
Expansion Receiver Module, Isolated
Expansion Receiver Module, Non-isolated
Profibus-DP Network Slave Module
To add a module to the remote node, right click on the VersaMax PNS icon in the Navigator and
select Change Module List. In the right pane of the Change Module List window, expand the list of
VersaMax module types.
Select modules from the list and drag them to their slot locations in the remote node.
(If you need to delete a module on the left, select it and press the keyboard Delete key). When the
modules on the left are correct, click OK to add them to the configuration.
