If the application program uses the Exchange Status word to check exchange status, it
must clear this word to 0 once a non-zero value is written to it. That allows the
application program to detect a new exchange status in subsequent sweeps.
The Exchange Status word uses the error codes below to report exchange status. Refer to
the section, Troubleshooting Common Ethernet Difficulties
Error
Produced: Initial value until the first producer period refresh occurs.
has not been Consumed: The data has not been refreshed and timeout has not
updated expired.
Produced: The produced exchange is producing data.
No error
Consumed: The data has been refreshed on schedule.
Consumed only: The CPU is configured for network time
synchronization, but is not synchronized. (This feature is supported in
NTP error
IC200CPUE05-HK and earlier versions only.)
Produced and Consumed: Error configuring the exchange. For

CPUE05, this error does NOT indicate a consumed exchange size

Consumed only: The timeout period has expired but data has not
