rently selected plug-in, or the last plug-in ac-
cessed if none is currently selected.

Transport Counter Display

On the upper right of Control 24, is the
Counter; an eight-character display shows your
location within a session. LEDs also indicate
what type of units (Min:Secs, Time Code,
Feet.Frames, Bars:Beats, or Samples) are dis-
played.
You can change the type of units displayed by
repeatedly pressing the COUNTER MODE but-
ton. When none of the LEDs are lit, the type of
units displayed will be samples.
When Control 24 is not communicating with
Pro Tools, the Counter will display the word OF-
FLINE until the Pro Tools application is started
up in the computer (even if everything is pow-
ered-up and connected properly).
When Pro Tools is open, but no session or dia-
log appears on-screen, the display remains unlit.
The display will also be unlit while Pro Tools is
enabling Ethernet connections.

Bank Swapping and Nudging

Beneath the Control 24 numeric keypad are the
BANK SELECT buttons. These include two bank
buttons with left/right arrow symbols, and the
NUDGE button. Together, these buttons allow
"bank swapping" or scrolling in single channel
increments. The BANK SELECT arrow keys swap
banks left or right 24 channels or more at a time.
The NUDGE button engages channel-scroll
mode, in which the BANK SELECT arrows scroll
by one channel at a time in the appropriate di-
rection.
BANK Buttons
When a session loads, the first 24 tracks from
the left side in the Mix window take over the 24
channels of Control 24. The BANK RIGHT> but-
ton in the extreme lower right of the Control 24
unit, banks Control 24 to the next 24 channels
