Final checks

Once your Novella MAXIMA boiler has start-
ed up, make sure that it shuts down and
re-starts properly when the following actions
are taken:
- The boiler's control thermostat is turned
down (5, Fig. 4.9)

- The power switch on the control panel is
switched OFF (Fig. 4.10)

- The temperature setting on the room ther-
mostat or timer is reduced (Fig. 4.11)

- Turn the mains power switch OFF and make
sure that the boiler shuts down completely
(Fig. 4.12).

Provided all the above conditions are satis-
fied, start the boiler up again, then analyse
the combustion fumes.
The sampling hole for combustion fume anal-
ysis must be located along the straight sec-
tion of flue at a distance of twice the pipe
diameter from the hood (refer to applicable
standards).
