Final checks

Once the boiler has started up, make sure that
it shuts down and re-starts properly when the
following actions are taken:
- The boiler's thermostat control is turned
down (fig. 4.12)

- The power switch on the control panel is
switched OFF (fig. 4.12)
- The temperature setting on the room ther-
mostat or timer is reduced (fig. 4.13)
- Make sure that the pump (if fitted) is free

and rotates in the right direction (fig. 4.14)
- Turn the mains power switch OFF and make
sure that the NOVELLA boiler shuts down
completely (fig. 4.14).

fied, start the boiler up again, then analyse the
combustion fumes.
4.4
Settings
These boilers come pre-configured for use
with methane gas (G20), as shown by the gas
plate, and have been calibrated in the factory
using the values listed in the table (tolerance
±5 %).
If the boiler needs new settings after repairs
have been made, the gas valve changed, or
after a conversion from one gas type to
another, proceed as follows.

Adjustments must only be performed by
a Technical Assistance Centre.
- Remove the pressure measurement point
screw (A) from the gas valve, and connect
a pressure gauge (fig. 4.15).

Gas supply conversion
The boiler comes configured for functioning
with methane gas (G20). It can nevertheless
be converted from methane to LPG (G30/
G31) using the kits provided.
Conversion must be performed by the manu-
facturer's Technical Assistance Service or by
authorised personnel. The boiler can be con-
verted even after installation. To do so, pro-
ceed as follows.
- Remove the front panel from the casing.
