Conversion from one gas
type to another
The boiler comes pre-configured for use with
G20 natural gas. It can, however, be convert-
ed for use with G30 or G31 gas using nozzle
kits available separately.

Conversions must only be performed
by a Technical Assistance Centre or by
authorised personnel, even after the
boiler has been installed.
To change from one type of gas to another, the
main nozzles (6) and the aluminium discs (5)
need to be changed (5, Fig. 4.15).
Remove the plastic cover from the minimum
gas pressure switch (7, Fig. 4.16) and set a
figure of 17 (for G20) or 25 (for G30 - G31).
Proceed as instructed in the following section
to adjust gas pressures.
On completion of the conversion, apply the
label provided in the kit, indicating the new
type of gas, over the old gas type plate.
NOTE: After a gas conversion, seal test all the
gas connections using soapy water or
a suitable leak testing product. Do not
use naked flames to search for gas
leaks. Gas conversions must only be
carried out by authorised personnel.
