Power Cord Safety:
• This machine is equipped with a 3-wire grounded plug. This plug will only fit into a
grounded power outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug
into the outlet, call your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet. DO NOT defeat
the purpose of the grounded plug.
• Use only the power cord supplied with this product.
• DO NOT allow anything to rest on the power cord.
• DO NOT place this machine where people can walk on the cord.
• DO NOT place this machine in a position where the cord is stretched or strain is
otherwise put on the cord, as it may become worn or fray.
• Brother strongly recommends that you DO NOT use any type of extension cord.
