Troubleshooting

∫ It is not a malfunction in following cases
Object seems to be warped.
∫ Power
Problem
This unit cannot be turned
on.
This unit does not stay on
long enough.
This unit cannot be operated
though it is turned on.
This unit does not operate
normally.
[Turn Power Off.] is
displayed on the Web screen.
The status indicator is lit or
flashing in red.
∫ Shooting
Problem
Color or brightness of the
image changes, or you may
see vertical bars in the
image.
The image flickers indoors.
No pictures are displayed or
the pictures are disturbed
Something is wrong with the
coloring of the pictures
≥ Object seems to be warped slightly when the object moves across the image
very fast, but this is because the Camera Head is using MOS for the image
sensor. This is not a malfunction.
≥ Connect the Camera Head Option cable correctly.
≥ Confirm if the DC cable is correctly connected.
≥ Press the power button of the unit for 10 seconds or more to force shut down
the unit. After forcing the unit to shut down, remove the DC cable, wait about
1 minute and then reconnect the DC cable. Then about 1 minute later, turn on
the unit again.
≥ If normal operation is still not restored, detach the power connected, and
consult the dealer who you purchased this unit from.
≥ Press the power button to turn off the unit, and then press the power button
again to turn it on.
≥ Repair is needed if it is repeatedly displayed even if it is restarted. Detach the
power connected, and consult the dealer who you purchased this unit from.
Do not attempt to repair the unit by yourself.
≥ An error has occurred. Refer to warning indications.
≥ Color or brightness of the image may change, or you may see vertical bars in
the image when the object is recorded under fluorescent light, mercury light
or sodium light, etc., but this is not a malfunction.
≥ Set the [Mode] for exposure adjustment to [Manual], and set the shutter
speed to 1/50, 1/60 or 1/100.
≥ Confirm if the connected device is correctly connected.
≥ Confirm if the image signal setup is correctly selected.
≥ Set the [Mode] for White Balance to [Auto].
≥ In some situations, the proper colors may not be reproduced using the [Auto]
function. In cases like this, proceed with the white balance adjustment.
