Installation of this product in the AJ-DE77, AJ-DE77H or AJ-DE77D enables digital data using the SDTI format* (digital data compression interface) to be input and output.

    Installation Check that the power of the AJ-DE77, AJ-DE77H or AJ-DE77D (hereafter referred to as the “Quick Cutter” ) is OFF. Screws (x4) Remove the four screws securing the top panel of the Quick Cutter, then remove the panel. Remove the 12 screws securing the two side panels of the Quick Cutter, then remove the panels.
  • Page 4 Installation After threading the coaxial cables connected to the terminal board through points 1 and 2 as shown at right, replace the jack panel on the main unit. 1 1 Pass the cable through the oval-shaped hole. 2 2 Pull the cable out from the position shown.   • Page 5 Installation After setting NTSC or PAL for the P4 pin of the accessory SDTI board as shown in the jumper setting diagram, refer to the coaxial cable connection diagram and connect the coaxial cables. The connections with the board should be made in the following order: 1 Connect the coaxial cable (black) which was connected in step 7 to the S_IN1 connector on the SDTI card provided with the unit.
  • Page 6 Installation Remove the 4 screws shown in the diagram at right and the right metal fitting grip of the Quick Cutter unit, then remove the F1 and F2 boards of the VTR unit.
