7.4 Uploading Reports
An external utility is available to upload Run and Validation reports from the
MyCycler to a PC computer system. This utility is included on the CD ROM that is
shipped with all MyCycler systems. This utility will work with Windows 98, Windows
2000, Windows XP and Windows ME. It will not work with Windows NT because
that operating system has no native support for USB.
To install the Upload Utility:
1.
Insert the Installation CD into a CD ROM drive.
Select Run... from the Start menu.
Type X:\Setup where X is the drive letter of the CD ROM drive.
Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. A folder
called Report Utility will be created in the MyCycler folder.
To upload reports to the PC:
1.
Connect the MyCycler to the PC using the supplied USB cable.
Select Start -> Programs ->MyCycler ->Report Utility.
Select the type of Report to upload.
Click on the report name on the left side of the screen to see the report
displayed on the right side of the screen.
To save the report, click Save to File. Enter a valid filename in the dialog
box, followed by TXT.
Click Save. Files are saved in plain text format and can be easily
reopened and printed using a word processor program such as Word.
