5.3.3.2 Rolling mode
After a user-defined period of inactivity, the graphical front panel changes, or rolls, to user-selected pages. Up to 10 pages
can be specified. Similarly, the display backlight intensity is lowered to a specified level; lower intensity extends the life of
the display.
If the display rolls, the rolling mode pages remain displaying regardless of the home page or rolling mode delay specified.
Each page displays for a few seconds; duration cannot be set.
The path is Settings > Product Setup > Graphical Panel > Rolling Mode.

Rolling Mode Delay
Range: 0 to 900 s in steps of 1
Default: 300 s
Set this delay to 0 to disable the rolling mode feature. Otherwise, after no pushbutton has been pressed for the amount
of time specified by this setting, the display automatically enters rolling mode. While in the rolling mode, the Rolling
Mode Pages display. Pressing any pushbutton terminates rolling mode. If Automatic Annunciator Recall is Enabled, any
annunciator window changing state also terminates rolling mode. Rolling mode can be interrupted when a setting
changes, such as changing the home page, then resumes rolling.
Automatic Annunciator Recall
Range: Enabled, Disabled
Default: Enabled
When Enabled, an annunciator window changes state, and the display is in rolling mode, this setting terminates rolling
mode and displays the annunciator page containing the changed state.
Screen Saver Delay
Range: 0 to 900 s in steps of 1
Default: 300 s
The screen saver mode extends the life of the display. After the amount of time set here, the screen saver activates and
the display intensity is reduced to the level set by the Screen Saver Intensity setting. When in rolling mode, rolling
continues while the screen saver is active. The screen saver terminates when rolling mode terminates. To disable the
screen saver, set the delay to 0.
