ONFIGURATION
Static routing provides a specific forwarding path for the router to forward packets and must be manually configured by the
user. Static routing includes static routing and policy-based routing in terms of its form. Static routing is selected based on the
destination address while policy-based routing is selected based on the source address (the router detects the source address of the
received forward packets and, based on the source address, forward with the corresponding routing). And policy-based routing has
priorities ranging from 3~252, where a smaller number indicates a higher priority. There is also a priority between static routing and
policy-based routing: policy-based routing has a higher priority than static routing.
Step 1: Log onto the WEB configuration interface of R800 LTE Router as provided in "5.2.1 Log onto the WEB Configuration
Interface". Click "Forwarding Settings > Route Configuration", as shown in Figure 5-5-3.
Click "Create" to create a static routing rule, as shown in Figure 5-5-4
